Jigsawing = putting the pieces together..

This method of teaching seems very similar to Kagan Co-operative Learning – group work with various roles & responsibilities.

The video below is a very easy to understand & only takes 90 seconds to watch & understand..


I think this would be a great way to allow students to discover a new topic or review a topic they have just completed.  It promotes active & deep learning and is very interactive with an emphasis on teaching others – which turns out to be the best way to reinforce learning – see the ‘Learning Pyramid’ below which has positively influenced how I prepare & deliver your lessons.
