and more advice from Burt Bacharach & Clint Eastwood

I took this photograph in Toronto, Canada in July 2011 whilst visiting dome old university pals there.  The ‘Wisdom’exhibition, a collection of portraits & thoughts of famous actors, politicians etc.. by Andrew Zuckerman  was being displayed near the Ice Hockey Hall of Fame.  It completely stopped me in my tracks and I ended up spending well over an hour floating about and taking far too many pictures.  Anyway, here are 2 of my favourites.  If you haven’t done so already, go see the exhibition or by the book to look really intelligent when friends and family visit…

Clint Eastwood, ‘Take your profession seriously, do not take yourself seriously’

Good old Ghandi….

Thinking about what I would write about for my first real post I thought there is no better place to start than the one and only Mahatma Ghandi, you know, to set the tone.

So, here we go:

Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words

Keep your words positive because your words become your behaviour

Keep your behaviour positive because your behaviour become your habits

Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values

Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny

I would suggest writing this down, sticking it on your head and looking in the mirror often!

Welcome to the world of educational blogging..

After discovering so many inspirational educational bloggers in 2011 through the world of Twitter I thought, after much deliberation, to give it a go myself in 2012.  I’m going to try and fiddle about with this and definitely bug some more experienced bloggers to help me out so I can hopefully create something worth reading and stealing ideas from…… to be continued…

Happy New Year to one and all!!
